Downtown Springfield Hopes to Benefit from Academy Rennovation

SPRINGFIELD, Ore.-- The Academy of Arts and Academics celebrated the grand opening of their newly rennovated addition. Mayor Sid Leiken hopes this is just the beginning of revitalization in downtown Springfield.
Neighboring businesses are also optimistic. Store owners say more students downtown will create a more family-friendly atmosphere.
